It is essential that our Experts maintain the highest professional standards for our Clients across confidentiality, expertise, legal compliance and conduct. These compliance policy terms, detailed below, represent the minimum requirements to provide Services to our Clients via the SmartBuyer network.
By becoming an Expert in the SmartBuyer Expert Network (“SmartBuyer”), you agree to comply with the following compliance terms (“Terms”). These Terms are designed to maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards of SmartBuyer.
Qualification Assurance: You represent and warrant that you possess the qualifications, expertise, and experience necessary to provide expert advice and services in your designated field.
Continuous Professional Development: You agree to stay current in your area of expertise, and maintain the highest professional standards.
Confidentiality Obligations: You shall treat all information received from Clients as confidential and shall not disclose or use such information for any purpose other than fulfilling your obligations to SmartBuyer and the Client.
Data Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of any data or information provided to you by SmartBuyer or Clients and shall use best practices to protect such data from unauthorised access or disclosure.
Legal Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the provision of your services within SmartBuyer.
Conflict of Interest: You shall promptly disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with your participation in any SmartBuyer project or engagement.
Ethical Conduct: You shall conduct yourself with honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times when interacting with Clients, other Experts, or SmartBuyer personnel.
Respect for Others: You shall treat all Network participants and Clients with respect and courtesy and shall not engage in any behaviour that may be considered discriminatory, offensive, or harmful.
These Compliance Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
